Back to basics: Kitchen utensil essentials for healthy eating.

January 23, 2015September 18, 2015 | Emma

So here’s the thing. I don’t speak to a client and say, ‘No, you shouldn’t be eating that. You need to eat this’ and they go on the merry way to a healthy and happy lifestyle. Let’s be realistic here. It does not work like that. Continue reading →

Make friends with salad: seven summer sensations.

January 9, 2015April 25, 2017 | Emma

I love a bit of alliteration. I also love a salad. I have made friends with salad and there is no denying it. Whilst a good old tuna salad does fly on my radar frequently, especially for the quick lunch, I do like to mix it up. Continue reading →

My New Years Wish for you: Healthy, happy and fad diet free.

January 2, 2015April 25, 2017 | Emma

It’s that time of the year again. You feel like you’ve drunk your body weight in alcohol, ate your fair share of that Mersey Valley Vintage cheddar cheese & the Christmas chocolates are still haunting you.  Continue reading →

Hello!

My name is Emma and I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian based in Western Victoria.

I am talk-your-ears-off passionate about food and nutrition. I am a strong advocate for a balanced eating pattern - packed full of fresh, whole food paddock-to-plate goodness, enjoyed with a healthy side of moderation.

Breakfast is my religion, peanut butter is a pantry essential and I would prefer to spend money on shoes than ‘superfoods’.

My blog is a mixture of food, nutrition and reflections on the simple (and often food-related) things in life.

Enjoy, Emma xo.
