Cook this: Grilled zucchini, pea + feta salad.

March 8, 2017May 16, 2017 | Emma

Last week I’m standing in front of my cardiac rehab group and I asked the question: ‘What is a heart healthy diet’. I got answers such as ‘high in fibre’, ‘plenty of fruit and vegetables’, ‘low in salt’ and then I also got ‘boring’. Continue reading →

A birthday baked potato bar.

February 26, 2017April 25, 2017 | Emma

It’s Sunday and I’m sitting in my lounge room watching Gilmore Girls. (I assure you I have moved since my toast this morning.) I’ve been a bit erratic with my postings on here. Likely due to life. Continue reading →

Foods to eat for good health

February 16, 2017April 25, 2017 | Emma

When it comes to eating well, there are many ways to do it. To eat well, to ensure you stay well, you must do what is right for you. Health is more than just nutrition and keeping yourself physically healthy. Continue reading →

Hello!

My name is Emma and I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian based in Western Victoria.

I am talk-your-ears-off passionate about food and nutrition. I am a strong advocate for a balanced eating pattern - packed full of fresh, whole food paddock-to-plate goodness, enjoyed with a healthy side of moderation.

Breakfast is my religion, peanut butter is a pantry essential and I would prefer to spend money on shoes than ‘superfoods’.

My blog is a mixture of food, nutrition and reflections on the simple (and often food-related) things in life.

Enjoy, Emma xo.
