Nutrition thoughts

Four healthy habits that don’t involve my choice of food.

January 31, 2016April 25, 2017 | Emma

I’m just mind blown. I can’t believe that it is the last day of January already. Time is flying way too fast. I feel like I haven’t got a grasp on 2016 yet. Although, not once have I written 2015 – massive achievement. Continue reading →

Let’s eat with joy this christmas.

December 20, 2015April 25, 2017 | Emma

I love Christmas.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. It does what going to Melbourne does to me – raises (almost) everyone’s baseline happiness. Continue reading →

What should we be eating from this recipe book of confusion?

December 4, 2015April 25, 2017 | Emma

Put your hands up, like this post, send me a snap chat, or even just smile if you’ve ever felt confused when it has come to nutrition?

I’m willing to bet the rights to my blog and say you all have at some point in time. Continue reading →

We all need to calm down: A Sunday rant on sugar and gluten and poison.

5 questions everyone loves to ask a Dietitian.

November 5, 2015April 25, 2017 | Emma

It’s funny you know. As the years tick over and we all become that little bit wiser, it seems that often people are still asking the same questions over and over. Hello!

My name is Emma and I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian based in Western Victoria.

I am talk-your-ears-off passionate about food and nutrition. I am a strong advocate for a balanced eating pattern - packed full of fresh, whole food paddock-to-plate goodness, enjoyed with a healthy side of moderation.

Breakfast is my religion, peanut butter is a pantry essential and I would prefer to spend money on shoes than ‘superfoods’.

My blog is a mixture of food, nutrition and reflections on the simple (and often food-related) things in life.

Enjoy, Emma xo.
