I love February. The weather is always fabulous. And it’s birthday month. In fact, right now we are in birthday week. There has been brunch and there has been flowers.
There has been home and freshly ground peanut butter. I had a catch up with Harvey & Mike, and there is just a whole lot of good to come.
In the blogging world, it’s also been pretty fabulous. First of all, thank you for all the comments and feedback from my first post of the month – On Monday, I broke up with my scales. I really do appreciate it. And then in other news…
My blog was featured in the latest edition of Nosh magazine.
I’m pretty stoked to be next to my clinical placement rock Ash, and dietitian-to-be’s Nina & Felicity. So turn to page 16 – you’ll see us, and that hotcake.
But please do try and have a look at the whole edition. You can discover the truth about juice, learn how to introduce a baby’s first solids and even explore whether we should be going low carb. There are recipes, and if you have even wanted to know how to eat like a nutritionist, there is a great little article by Alex in there too.
Secondly, I am developing my writing skills & will be contributing to The Body Dietetics blog.My first post I do particularly love and I’m stoked Larina loved it. I will ensure that I keep the links to these articles on my media page.
As for the fuelling fabulous reference – I like alliteration & Fuel Fabulous is the Dietitian’s Association of Australia’s new advertising campaign.
Just a little reminder that we APD’s are the only nutrition professionals recognised by the Australian government and Medicare. I know that we would love to help you feel fabulous, so check out the website to find an APD in your area!

Loved your ‘Why must we label what we eat’ post. Particularly when the suggested reads below for me came up with ‘are you following a flexitarian approach’?. Seems like labelling is all the rage! If you’re not mainstream, you’re hipster.
Well done on your writings and features. Can’t wait to see what you get up to in the future.
Thanks for the shout-out too. Can you believe it was only this time last year that we were gearing up for our last semester? Look at what we have achieved since then!
Keep it up 🙂

Thanks Ash. I’m yet to read the ‘are you following a flexitarian approach?’. Thats another new concept, did you notice my mention of ‘Pegan’. Like come on,
I did notice Sonia’s social media feed start up on twitter – it really is scary how time flies when you’re having fun!
Thank you so much x
