5 things you need to make a party-in-your-mouth type of salad.

February 20, 2018February 20, 2018 | Emma

For many people, the protein portion of the main meal is the hero. Vegetables, or salad, an after thought. Something quickly thrown together so you feel like you have something else on the plate. Am I right? Continue reading →

Make these: 6 salads that are not lettuce, tomato & boring.

First of all, apologies to anyone that finds a simple garden salad of tomato, cucumber and lettuce exciting. To me, it’s just such a cliché salad. Continue reading →

July rambles: turmeric, tahini and turning orange.

July 2, 2017July 3, 2017 | Emma

It’s been a while in between posts. A long, but super quick while it seems. Right now I’m just wanting to share with you the things that are happening in my kitchen right now. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see tahini, turmeric, eggs, and plenty of green and orange vegetables. Continue reading →

Food and the little things I am loving right now.

Cook this: Grilled zucchini, pea + feta salad.

Hello!

My name is Emma and I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian based in Western Victoria.

I am talk-your-ears-off passionate about food and nutrition. I am a strong advocate for a balanced eating pattern - packed full of fresh, whole food paddock-to-plate goodness, enjoyed with a healthy side of moderation.

Breakfast is my religion, peanut butter is a pantry essential and I would prefer to spend money on shoes than ‘superfoods’.

My blog is a mixture of food, nutrition and reflections on the simple (and often food-related) things in life.

Enjoy, Emma xo.
